Who does not love receiving a bunch of flowers? Especially sunflowers. This vibrant sunflower image is original artwork from Yulia Brodskaya. Her paper technique in creating this artwork is amazing in creating detail and shadows.

It is not only visually beautiful, bright and intriguing, it is also a challenging building experience. Dave has also drawn the pieces to represent the actual sunflower fields and a windmill that you will need to find and construct within the puzzle.

About the artist

World renowned paper artist Yulia Brodskaya pushes the boundaries of the century old craft known as Paper Quilling. She describes her unique methods of "drawing" and "painting" with paper instead of ON paper.

Her innovative techniques imitate brushstrokes with tightly packed strips of paper, achieved by combining different colour strips in a method similar to mixing paints on a palette, but with added quality and a third dimension.

Sunflower Satisfaction

This beautiful Sunflower artwork was a challenging but achievable puzzle. A nice size to complete in a couple of days without taking up a whole table of space. The "puzzle within a puzzle" pieces add another level of enjoyment to the activity. The colours are rich and vibrant and the texture of the wooden pieces make this puzzle a positive sensory experience.
This was our first Twigg puzzle, so it took a bit of "getting used to" the loose nature of the pieces and finding ways to move sections around (a flat palm to hold and slide) but that just made it all the more fun and used a little more brain power.
I highly recommend these puzzles to anyone wanting a more challenging style of puzzle that's not like all the rest.

Sunflowers

This puzzle is a little challenging but so satisfying to complete. As for all the Twigg puzzles I have, this one too has beautiful artwork.
