Sally Edmonds

Sally Edmonds is a contemporary Australian artist whose work is especially known for her affection for birds, which frequently appear as a central motif in her work.

These bird-inspired pieces tend to be stylised rather than strictly realistic, using layered paint, pattern, and gestural mark-making to capture movement, personality, and spirit. 

We came up with the stamp collection to also celebrate the Australian birds that she paints.
