This is a new puzzle to add to our Sally Edmonds stamp collection. The deep hues of pink and grey captured in this piece of art really makes for a cute and colourful puzzle & makes you want to join them in their "chatter".
The word ‘Galah’ is a slang term in the native Australian language. It means fool or a loud-mouthed fool. The bird was given this name because of its extremely loud voice and screeching calls.
The Galah bird is part of the Cockatoo family. They are known for their playful personality and can be found in all parts of Australia. They can live for up to 72 years if following a strict and healthy diet.

These puzzles are so beautiful! Particularly so for any “bird nerds” like myself! Visually they are stunning, but the weight of the wooden pieces - which are very uniquely shaped - make this puzzle so pleasurable to do from a sensory level. They are challenging, but not frustrating, to complete. Sitting down with a cup of tea or a glass of wine to complete one of these is truly a meditative process. I am in the process of collecting them all!
Excellent.
